Refund and Return Policy

At Main Market Online, operated by AfriGlobal Commerce LLC, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy with your order, we’re here to help. Please read our return and refund policy carefully.


1. Return Window

You have 7 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for eligible items. Returns requested after 7 days cannot be accepted.

Important: Due to the nature of cosmetics and skincare products, we have a strict 7-day return window to ensure product quality and hygiene standards.


2. Eligible Returns

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Unopened and Unused: Products must be in their original, sealed packaging with all protective seals intact
  • Original Condition: Items must be in the same condition as when you received them
  • Original Packaging: Products must be returned in their original packaging with all tags, labels, and documentation
  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide your order number or receipt
  • Within Return Window: Return must be initiated within 7 days of delivery

3. Non-Returnable Items

For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened Products: Any cosmetics, skincare, or beauty products that have been opened, used, or had protective seals broken
  • Sale/Clearance Items: Products marked as final sale, clearance, or discounted beyond our normal promotions
  • Gift Cards: Gift cards and electronic vouchers are non-returnable
  • Personalized Items: Custom or personalized products (if applicable)
  • Sample Sizes: Free samples or promotional items

Note: All cosmetic and skincare products are subject to strict hygiene policies. Once opened, they cannot be resold and therefore cannot be returned.


4. Defective, Damaged, or Wrong Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we will make it right:

What We Cover:

  • Products that arrive damaged during shipping
  • Defective products (manufacturing defects, expired products, contaminated items)
  • Wrong items sent (different product than ordered)
  • Missing items from your order

What to Do:

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@mainmarketonline.us with:

  1. Your order number
  2. Clear photos of the damaged/defective/wrong item
  3. Brief description of the issue

Our Resolution:

  • Free Replacement: We’ll send you a replacement item at no charge
  • Full Refund: If replacement isn’t possible or you prefer, we’ll issue a full refund
  • Free Return Shipping: We’ll provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you

5. Return Shipping

For Defective/Damaged/Wrong Items:

  • FREE return shipping – We’ll provide a prepaid return label
  • We cover all return shipping costs

For Change of Mind/Buyer’s Remorse:

  • Customer pays return shipping
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method
  • You bear the risk of loss during return shipping

Return Address:
Returns should be shipped to our fulfillment center in Delaware. The exact address will be provided when you initiate your return.


6. How to Initiate a Return

To return an eligible item, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email order@mainmarketonline.us with:
    • Your order number
    • Item(s) you wish to return
    • Reason for return
    • Whether you prefer refund or exchange
  2. Receive Authorization: We’ll review your request and send you return instructions within 24 hours
  3. Pack Your Return: Securely package the item(s) in original packaging
  4. Ship the Return:
    • Use the prepaid label we provide (for defective/damaged/wrong items)
    • Or ship at your own expense (for change of mind returns)
  5. Tracking: Send us the tracking number once shipped

Important: Do not return items without contacting us first. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted or refunded.


7. Refund Process

Processing Time:

  • Once we receive your returned item, we’ll inspect it within 2-3 business days
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed

Refund Method:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase
  • Credit/debit card refunds may take an additional 3-5 business days to appear in your account, depending on your card issuer

Refund Amount:

  • Product cost: Full refund of the item price
  • Original shipping: Refunded only if the return is due to our error (defective, damaged, or wrong item)
  • Return shipping: Not refunded for change of mind returns (customer’s responsibility)

Partial Refunds:

Partial refunds may be granted for items returned in less-than-perfect condition due to:

  • Missing original packaging or tags
  • Damage not caused by us or the carrier
  • Items returned significantly after the 7-day window (at our discretion)

8. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for:

  • Defective or damaged items
  • Wrong items received
  • Different size/variant of the same product (if available)

To request an exchange:

  1. Contact us at order@mainmarketonline.us within 7 days of delivery
  2. Specify the item you want to exchange and what you’d like instead
  3. We’ll confirm availability and provide exchange instructions
  4. Return the original item following our return process
  5. We’ll ship the replacement item once we receive and approve your return

Note: If the replacement item costs more than the original, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.


9. Order Cancellations

Before Shipping:

  • You may cancel your order within 6 hours of placement by contacting info@mainmarketonline.us
  • Full refund will be issued to your original payment method

After Shipping:

  • Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled
  • You may refuse delivery or follow our return process once received

10. Restocking Fee

We do not charge a restocking fee for eligible returns that meet our return policy conditions.


11. Lost or Stolen Packages

We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier but not received by you. However, we want to help:

  • Check with neighbors, building management, or household members
  • Verify the shipping address on your order confirmation
  • Contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number
  • Contact us at info@mainmarketonline.us – we may be able to assist with carrier claims

12. Multiple Item Returns

If you received multiple items in one order and need to return only some:

  • Clearly indicate which items you’re returning
  • Keep items you wish to keep separate
  • Follow the same return process
  • Refund will be issued only for returned items

13. International Returns

We currently only ship within the United States. If you received an order outside the US in error, please contact us immediately at info@mainmarketonline.us.
